#NoBlackSnakeFriday

Reed Wilkerson

Statement:

RFW Co has decided that we cannot participate in the consumerism of Black Friday. We will not be lowering the prices on our products, instead we will dedicate 50% of all purchases made on Friday November 25 to the fight against the Dakota Access Pipeline at Standing Rock.

We are a small business, these profits will not amount to much, but our goal is to stand in solidarity, educate and take action in any way that we can. We will be hand delivering all the proceeds from our #noblacksnakefriday campaign to the Standing Rock Reservation. We will travel up there to donate our skills as woodworkers and builders to assist the camp in winterizing.

You are more important than your money and doing the right thing is more important to RFW Co than the potential profits of the largest shopping day of the year. Follow the links provided to see how you can help, donate directly, educate yourself and others on the situation.

Rad!

Dearly Beloved...

Reed Wilkerson

Being from Minneapolis, Minnesota; the tragic passing of the Purple One, Prince had a huge impact on the community and affected me personally. Devastated by the passing of a great local artist and hero I did the only thing I could do, I hit the shop and starting making things. The result were some pieces inspired by and dedicated to our funky hero Roger "Prince" Nelson.

After revealing my work on social media I was invited to take part in a art show named 57Princes as a part of the annual Art A Whirl in NE Minneapolis. The show featured works done by local artists in tribute to Prince. It was the very first Art show I had ever taken part in! Such an honor to share a wall with such talented artists.

Two more art shows coming up will be featuring my Prince works. Details soon!

New Products!!!

Reed Wilkerson

I've been working on these for the last few months and I'm now so happy to reveal the fruits of my labor!

WALNUT & MAPLE BUTCHER BLOCK

I'm in love with these! Not only are Walnut and Maple currently my favorite woods to work with, I'm so pleased with how the simple and beautiful pattern turned out. Plus these babies are big! 11 x 15 inches so you can slice up a storm on these and with the rubber feet attached to the bottom you won't have to worry about these cutting boards slipping around on you!

Head over to the Products page and pick one up! I only have a limited supply of these.

DON'T BE A DICK

A motto, a mantra, a way of life! "Don't Be A Dick" is a RFW Co standard policy. An extension of the "Golden Rule", it's a reminder to always do your best, be of service to others, and make things for people that we would want made for ourselves.

Made from 1/2 inch Walnut and engraved on a CNC. These make great additions to the home, the office or great gifts for those you feel need the reminder ;)

Head on over to the Products page and grab a couple of these while they last!

JUST BREATHE

Sometimes we need a reminder to Just Breathe. Originally I made this sign for my mother. As an accomplished singer and voice teacher she wanted a sign in her office as a reminder to her students that singing starts with the breath.

Every part of life starts with the breath, our lives depend on it. In with the good, out with the bad, fill up and release, let go and move forward.

Get yours over on the Products page.
